About The Position

The Planning Associate at Globus Medical is responsible for coordinating manufacturing functions and processes to ensure the overall success of the organization. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of MS Office with strength in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong planning skills, the ability to motivate others and resolve production issues

Responsibilities

• Assisting in coordinating workflow for multiple product lines
• Helping to plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Monitoring manufacturing to ensure they will finish on time
• Monitoring, supporting and assisting in the execution of each department's daily, weekly and monthly production targets
• Preparing and submitting status performance reports and spreadsheets
• Escalating complex issues to Manager for resolutions
• Communicating production status to Managers and attending daily production meetings
• Assisting Manager with analyzing back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders
• Updating Planning reports and Average Daily Shipments on a daily and weekly basis
• Driving shop performance reporting by analyzing daily reports and communicating the results of that data
• Assisting in monthly assessment of on-floor priority levels and adjusting as needed
• Evaluating resource allocation to bottle-neck operations and re-directing work as needed
• Adhering to the company Code of Conduct and all applicable laws and regulations
• Representing the company in a professional manner and upholding ethical business practices
