About The Position

The Planning Assistant (Rail Car) position is a full-time role located in Lincoln, NE. The individual will be responsible for supporting the production planning process by following company policies and procedures, as well as quality and environmental management systems. This role involves administrative support, data processing, and inventory analysis to ensure material needs are met effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company Policies and Procedures, Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), Kawasaki Production System (KPS) and any other legal and compliance regulations that may apply such as OSHA.
• Provide general administrative support.
• Process, record and maintain data.
• Analyze and update information and/or reports to determine inventory and/or material needs related to assignment.
• Interact with internal or external customers related to assignment.
• Monitor, coordinate and schedule activities affecting assignment.
• Provide support; suggest solutions and recommendations related to assignment.
• Create and submit reports to management and other affected departments as assigned.
