Position Summary: This role is aligned to the TF035 - Senior Delivery Lead - Technology profile and is responsible for leading and coordinating execution of Enterprise Critical Infrastructure (ECI) planning, documentation, testing, and governance deliverables that require engagement across ECI Owners, application and infrastructure subject matter experts, control partners, and cross-functional technology teams. The role emphasizes technical infrastructure and restoral expertise and is accountable for driving high-quality execution against ECI procedures, standards, and timelines. Key responsibilities include leading development of ECI Restoral Plans, Restoral Test Plans, and Restoral Test Execution documentation; facilitating quality assurance and quality control reviews; coordinating approvals; maintaining dependency mapping and sequencing and timing analysis; supporting Maximum Tolerable Downtime (MTD) activities, risk assessments, and restoral improvement options; and ensuring documentation, testing evidence, and remediation tracking are completed in accordance with required standards. This role leads the planning and testing routines required to develop, review, test, improve, and maintain ECI recovery documentation and supporting evidence. The Planning and Testing Lead helps ensure assigned ECIs are documented, quality reviewed, approved, tested, and sustained through a consistent process that includes authorship, inline quality assurance, forum-based quality control, owner and senior leader approvals, evidence capture, remediation tracking, and compliance with quarterly and annual milestones. Job Description: This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables which requires engagement across multiple organizations. Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in technology, infrastructure, resiliency, restoration planning, disaster recovery, technology operations, or a closely related execution role.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional technical deliverables across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with technical infrastructure documentation, restoral planning, recovery testing, or operational resiliency processes.
  • Experience facilitating structured working sessions, review forums, and approval processes with technical SMEs, control partners, and senior leaders.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure dependencies, recovery sequencing, testing evidence, and remediation tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risks, issues, milestones, and deliverables in a controlled environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise infrastructure restoral or bare metal recovery planning and testing.
  • Experience with risk assessments, control requirements, and evidence-based governance processes.
  • Experience with dependency mapping, timing analysis, and identification of technical workarounds.
  • Experience supporting documentation that requires formal approvals and audit-ready traceability.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, structured, technical documentation for senior audiences.
  • Expertise across 3+ infrastructure domains, with deep expertise in 1–2 (VMware/hybrid compute, mainframe, storage & backup/DR, AutoSys/workload automation, monitoring/observability).
  • Experience with automation/IaC and scripting (e.g., Terraform/Ansible/PowerShell/Python) to standardize and scale operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead kickoff meetings and establish recurring working sessions with ECI Owners, AIT SMEs, infrastructure SMEs, and control partners to manage and track development of ECI deliverables.
  • Direct and support contributors in completing ECI Restoral Plans, Restoral Test Plans, Restoral Test Execution documents, improvement options, and supporting requirements based on feedback.
  • Drive execution of documentation and testing milestones for assigned ECIs and intercede with needed remediation to meet required timelines.
  • Facilitate inline Quality Assurance (QA) and forum-based Quality Control (QC) review; incorporate feedback through QA forms, checklists, and feedback trackers.
  • Coordinate review and approval workflows with ECI Owners and assigned 3-Deep Senior Leaders for plans, test plans, test results, and improvement options.
  • Support mapping of Prioritized Critical Services (PCS) dependencies to ECIs and maintain quarterly updates to dependency mapping outputs.
  • Analyze ECI sequencing and timing information, identify circular dependencies, and partner with stakeholders to document workarounds and restoral order updates.
  • Coordinate development of ECI Restoral Test Plans and execution of testing activities, including representative sample testing, tabletop testing, evidence collection, observations, after-action reporting, and remediation tracking.
  • Support ECI Maximum Tolerable Downtime (MTD) activities by applying defined methodology inputs, documenting results, and helping identify ECIs requiring risk assessment or improvement options.
  • Partner with ECI Owners and leadership to develop, quality review, socialize, and decision restoral improvement options and recommendations for ECIs that exceed assigned MTD values.
  • Ensure final documentation, approvals, and supporting evidence are maintained in the appropriate repositories and aligned to ECI document management standards.
  • Contribute to other restoration planning, resiliency, and execution activities as needed.
  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery of large programs, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
  • Broadens relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk
  • Establishes target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders
  • Tracks success metrics and provides status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, performance, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Collaborates with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
  • Manages program financials and supports resource planning
  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
