About The Position

Position Summary – External This Analyst position supports production units by synthesizing large quantities of data to understand workload, utilization, and capacity. Reports will be developed to provide business leaders with the insights needed to prioritize and manage work. Ongoing analysis will be conducted to measure outcomes and identify opportunities for operational improvements

Requirements

  • Demonstrated analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with database architecture principles
  • Experience managing data sources and extracting relevant data
  • Thorough understanding of business operations
  • Understanding of mathematical techniques to analyze data and draw conclusions
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands
  • Diligently attend to details and manage multiple tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Effectively convey ideas and facts verbally and in writing
  • Foster positive relationships with staff members and leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Intermediate knowledge of PowerPivot
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and SAS
  • Intermediate knowledge of Access
  • 2 years’ experience managing data and analysis in a production environment
  • Experience with business process workflows

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analyses to identify business trends and inform strategic decisions
  • Design, build and maintain analysis models
  • Identify, extract and compile data to be analyzed
  • Analyze data to identify trends, prepare and present findings
  • Design operational reports to provide visibility to individual and business performance
  • Design, build and maintain reporting models
  • Develop measures that align with operational goals
  • Provide consultative support to help leaders interpret results and take action as needed
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure business objectives are met
  • Communicate effectively with leaders to recommend action, interpret results, and create effective presentations
