About The Position

Essential responsibilities include : Perform data collection and populate long-term planning modeling databases and spreadsheets (real-time and forecasts). Assist with retrieving and analyzing data needed to prepare power supply budgets, evaluate projects, develop resource plans, and forecasts. Retrieve information from various sources to assist in monitoring market conditions, forecasts, and discussions related to long-term planning Assist in reporting actual and forecasted system operations in support of projects, regulatory filings, and internal long-term planning reporting. Work Experience: This is an entry-level position. No professional work experience necessary. Critical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Must have a minimum of intermediate-level Microsoft Excel proficiency or similar analytical tools. Preferred knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: One (1) year or more of experience or educational background in technical research, energy modeling, report writing, database population, and maintenance is preferred. Statistical and regression analysis capabilities (Excel Data Toolpack, R, SAS, etc.) Production Cost or Capacity Expansion modeling preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related technical or analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Travel details : Occasional travel required for meetings and conferences Working Conditions and Physical Demands: Ability to enter data using hand-eye coordination and look at a computer monitor for long periods of time. Interact effectively with others through oral communication in person, over the phone, and via video chat, and in writing via email, text, and Microsoft Teams chat. Work full days (8 hours) in an office environment and work weekends during peak periods. Requirements
