The Planning & Analysis Analyst II - International will support the Planning & Analysis department in creating and maintaining various models, analyses, and studies that ultimately drive critical business decisions. This role will require liaison between business unit operations, internal departments, and the international team leadership, participating in creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and graphs to assess performance.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business, clearly identifying the different impact configurations, scenarios, and deals have on the company's financial statements and overall strategy.
  • Support strategic decisions by senior management with comprehensive analysis and presentations marrying big data science with financial shrewdness.
  • Maintain comprehensive and complex business and financial models.
  • Prepare financial analysis and statistical studies utilizing well-established tools and frameworks.
  • Work with the Senior Analyst in mergers & acquisitions, valuations, and other activities requiring financial analysis.
  • Gather and format data from customers, competitors, industries, macroeconomics, and other relevant reports to help create the strategic dashboard.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly executive reports, including key performance metrics.
  • Maintain various financial/operational/strategic models to assist International Organization's executives in planning and executing growth initiatives.
  • Support the team's leader, working closely with International operations and other departments as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Evaluate large data sets, organizing, formatting, and cleaning up as required to provide material for analysis.
  • Learn systems and data repository characteristics and requirements, and work with companies' branches to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the development of business intelligence models by completing data mining analysis.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from various data sources using SQL and Azure big data technologies.
  • Assist with developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Ad hoc problem-solving.
  • Assist other team members in collecting data from various sources and preparing data sets for analysis.
  • Board package and Executive Meeting data preparation and support.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Operations, Analysis, or Planning.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
