About The Position

The Planner position at AAR Corp. involves scheduling and coordinating manufacturing and production operations, as well as managing the delivery of supplies. The role is essential for ensuring that production flows smoothly and meets customer requirements while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in aerospace or defense industries.
• Knowledge of production scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Schedules the flow of production and/or materials, supplies, and parts within and between departments of the plant.
• Reviews master production schedule and work orders to establish priorities for specific customer orders and production needs.
• Revises schedules to accommodate work order changes and customer requirements.
• Reviews production specifications against plant capabilities.
• Performs individual assignments as directed by supervisors and ensures adequate controls are exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality.
• Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation, and the community.
• Maintains professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.
