Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university is preferred; 3-5 five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
On the job and professional training seminars may qualify as related experience. In-house promotions must have held the junior planner position for more than 12 months
ERP knowledge and proficient in use
Monitor incoming orders, supply chain problems, market changes and inventory issues to minimize the impact on production
Monitor material flow and identify shortages or bottlenecks
Plans, schedules and coordinates the flow of products through the complete production cycle
Create a production schedule for materials and resources
Ability to gather data, analyze and present metrics for department
Responds well to questions, with clear precise answers. Participates regularly in meetings; communicating in a positive manner
Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of management and personnel
