About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Planner to join our team in a Biotech/Reagents Manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will perform tasks to manage and schedule production activities, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Additional related duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of an ERP system (preferably Macola ES).
  • Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing or Reagents.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet, Excel, and the relevant MS Office Suite.
  • Understanding of workflow and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and planning, including inventory databases and lot numbering systems.
  • Familiarity with planning techniques and capacity levels.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both orally and in writing.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management with 2 years of experience.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Manufacturing/Production planning with APICS certification preferred but not required.
  • Buying experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage special requirements of limited to moderate complexity for OEM customers and Branded products.
  • Release shop orders with limited supervision on routine customer or branded product orders of limited to moderate complexity.
  • Develop schedules based on the master production plan utilizing planning principles.
  • Communicate schedules, plans, and expectations to all relevant stakeholders or teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues of limited to moderate complexity independently.
  • Review, analyze, and submit purchase requisitions.
