To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Planner located in our Henrico, VA facility. Reporting to the Manager - Materials, the Planner be in charge of helping materials and production functions. Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply chain, Statistics.
• 3 - 5 years of experience or CPSM certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipment's etc.), confirmation of the order.
• Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, notification of the purchasing group.
• Monitoring, control of implementation of plans, starting necessary actions in case of deviations.
• Preparation of long-term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
• Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /non-consumed demand, planned WO's.
• Preparing of Clean to build reports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary, informing of order desk, ECO implementation tracing.
• Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences.
• Preparing management and CFT specificized reports, monitoring of KPI's.
• Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
• Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
• Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
• Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs.
• May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
• Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
• Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
• Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers, and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
• May also help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
