About The Position

As a Production Planner/Support I, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth production operations by effectively creating, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules. You will collaborate with various departments, monitor material inventories, and track production progress, ensuring that schedules align with customer demand, capacity constraints, and other key operational factors. This role requires strong analytical skills to maintain planning systems, track compliance, and support business-critical decision-making processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and planning software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, create, and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer requirements, and internal capacity constraints.
• Ensure alignment with operational goals and compliance with schedule utilization dynamics.
• Monitor material inventories to ensure adequate stock levels for production.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to avoid shortages or excesses.
• Track and analyze manufacturing progress to ensure timely production and delivery.
• Identify any deviations from the schedule and work to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain the planning system, ensuring data accuracy, up-to-date scheduling, and optimal functionality to support production operations.
• Execute ERP system processes, generating reports to provide real-time data for decision-making.
• Share timely information with relevant teams to drive scheduling and business decisions.
• Track schedule compliance and capacity utilization, identifying any bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the production process.
• Recommend adjustments to optimize throughput and productivity.
• Work closely with demand planners, production teams, and supply chain staff to ensure seamless communication and alignment across departments.
