About The Position

The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing fully integrated CPM schedules for oil & gas construction projects. This role supports small to mid-size project teams and requires hands-on coordination with field supervision, project management, engineering, and clients. The scheduler ensures schedule integrity across all construction disciplines, supports progress measurement and earned value reporting, and assists with schedule impact and change management. Schedule Development & Maintenance Develop and maintain logic-driven CPM schedules using Primavera P6 from project award through turnover. Build Level 3–4 Integrated Construction Schedules covering all discipline as well as Incorporate engineering, procurement, vendor data, and construction activities into a single integrated plan. 2. Progress Measurement & Reporting Collect and validate weekly field progress with superintendents and discipline leads. Calculate and report earned progress using decimal precision, even when client systems round earned percentages to zero. Prepare C-Charts, progress curves, and earned value reports to support monthly pay applications. Provide narratives explaining progress, deviations, forecast changes, and mitigation strategies. Support project forecasting for key milestones and completion dates. 3. Field & Project Team Coordination Work closely with field supervision to confirm production rates, sequencing, and constraints. Support short-interval schedules and look-ahead planning. Participate in internal project reviews and external client progress meetings. Assist Project Managers with manpower planning and schedule-driven decision making. 4. Change Management & Claims Support Support evaluation of change orders, delays, and scope growth. Prepare Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and mitigation scenarios. Maintain schedule documentation to support potential claims or client audits. Track baseline, current, and recovery schedules.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7–10 years of scheduling experience in oil & gas or industrial construction.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (required).
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling multiple construction disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of CPM methodology and construction sequencing.
  • Experience supporting earned value and progress measurement.
  • Strong Excel skills for schedule analysis and progress modeling.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field, management, and clients.
  • Strong background in project controls, scheduling with demonstrated ability to manage reporting and performance metrics.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with small to mid-size Texas contractors.
  • Experience on upstream, midstream, compressor stations, or processing facilities.
  • Knowledge of commissioning and turnover scheduling.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Procore, or SAP interfaces.
  • PMP certification or progress toward certification.
  • Experience with Cloud Based IMF, Load screen, Acumen Fuse Service
