About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Planner/Scheduler to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring efficient production planning and execution through the effective use of SAP and other advanced planning tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
  • Proven experience using SAP (Production Planning and Materials Management modules).
  • Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and materials management.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure schedules align with project objectives.
  • Monitor material requirements and availability to support production schedules.
  • Work closely with procurement to address material shortages and ensure timely delivery of components.
  • Use SAP for scheduling, material planning, and production tracking.
  • Ensure accuracy of data within SAP, including BOMs, routings, and work center capacities.
  • Assess and analyze production capacities, identifying potential bottlenecks.
  • Implement strategies to balance workloads and ensure smooth operations.
  • Respond to schedule changes driven by customer demands, supply chain disruptions, or production issues.
  • Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and inventory levels.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership
