About The Position

As the Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for the daily, weekly and outage planning and scheduling of maintenance activities. You will be an integral part of a best-in-class maintenance program working with site leadership on priorities and coordinating contractors planning processes through accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems such as Maximo is a plus.
  • Uptime Elements Maintenance Reliability Certification or equivalent certification is also a plus.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain forklift certification.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to embrace change.
  • Effective communication skills in writing and in person.
  • Ability to understand technical and day to day operation of a bioprocessing facility.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and capability of learning new programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assure all work orders are planned for Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality.
  • Assure all work orders have necessary technical components to execute high quality work from POET and contractor staff alike.
  • Coordinate with other POET Bioprocessing resources and contractors as needed to develop accurate work order plans and minimize issues due to planning problems.
  • Assure all WO’s are in the proper status by identified timeframes to complete work consistent with priority status.
  • Perform Outage planning and scheduling year around.
  • Own completion of weekly schedule one week in advance and lead weekly meeting to complete/communicate the 1-week work schedule.
  • Schedule Maintenance Technicians available hours weekly to >90%.
  • Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure all activities are scheduled consistent with production targets while also maintaining Safety and Environmental standards.
