About The Position

Responsible for planning and scheduling distribution line maintenance tasks, Grid capital projects and day-to-day activities for the distribution line work.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Pl/Sc Coord : 2-4 years
• Sr Pl/Sc Coord : 5+ years.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with multiple levels of the organizational structure.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience/training in scheduling resources or maintenance and construction practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and database applications.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience as a Planner/Scheduler
• Knowledge of,DIS, GDT, AMFM, DFM, Distribution Line construction, maintenance and materials.

Responsibilities

• Develops short and long term schedules
• Updates area work plan
• Schedules work requests in DIS/MAXIMO and maintains documentation
• Interfaces and with internal groups such as Project Management and Construction, Major Accounts, Transmission Operations Center, Distribution Operations Center and Transmission Operations Planning for planned outages and resource coordination
• Submits and monitors project outage requests
• Leads the weekly planning meetings with the construction resources
• Identifies deficiencies, analyzes alternatives and recommends solutions to schedule conflicts
• Serves as a member of the Storm Response Team
