The Planner Scheduler Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring efficient production operations by developing and managing schedules, optimizing material flow, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams and operational performance while applying Lean principles to reduce waste and improve lead times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 2 years of manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to analyze production schedules for optimal production throughput for the manufacturing lines in the plant
  • Ability to review data and use Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and make quick decisions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Lean standard work concepts and their application to manufacturing activities.
  • Working knowledge of SAP for product management.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate daily production schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to prioritize and expedite key customer orders.
  • Manage raw material inventory levels from procurement through consumption
  • Oversee material flow and usage to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
  • Monitor and control Work-in-Process (WIP) and Finished Goods inventory
  • Apply Lean principles, including Kanban, within the value stream to streamline operations
  • Drive initiatives to reduce manufacturing lead times and improve overall throughput
  • Utilize key metrics and Lean tools to engage employees in continuous improvement efforts
