About The Position

Studco Building Systems is seeking Junior Planner/Purchaser to join our growing team. This entry-level role serves as a key link between Sales and Operations, ensuring accurate planning, material availability, and on-time delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between Sales and Operations, maintaining clear and consistent communication with both teams.
• Translate sales orders into actionable operations and production plans.
• Schedule and prioritize manufacturing job orders to meet target ship dates and customer-requested delivery dates.
• Ensure material availability for all scheduled job orders.
• Develop and maintain in-house manufacturing schedules to optimize machine capacity and workflow efficiency.
• Communicate with vendors to coordinate timely delivery of materials required for production.
• Purchase materials and components necessary to fulfill customer orders.
• Collaborate with Engineering and CAD teams to ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Provide daily expected ship lists and projected ship schedules to both Operations and Sales teams.
• Maintain an updated and accurate production schedule at all times.
• Support the Global Product Manager with research, product development, and R&D initiatives as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality related to manufacturing processes, customer information, and supplier details.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Global Product Manager.
