Job Purpose: Under general supervision, plans, coordinates and schedules the requisitioning and manufacturing of parts and components required for the assembly of finished NPI products for an assigned product line.

Requirements

  • Thorough working knowledge of MRP (inputs, logic and outputs) within an ERP system

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, manufacturing/industrial engineering or similar coursework with 3-7 years of experience in a related position are required.
  • Experience in Production/NPI Planning and Vendor Scheduling.
  • Experience working with an ERP system.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Material Planning System (MPS) activities to support production requirements
  • Review new customer orders and bookings on a daily basis
  • Create and release purchase orders to support material procurement
  • Develop and maintain Contract Manufacturer (CM) production schedules
  • Track, generate, and maintain accurate Customer On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics
  • Measure and monitor OTD performance for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
  • Monitor and report late backlog for NPI-related products
  • Provide weekly material availability updates to the NPI stakeholder community
