Maintenance Planner. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on long, medium and short-range maintenance division projects. What you will be responsible for: Serve as the primary liaison between customers and AAR Airline Maintenance divisions, ensuring clear communication regarding aircraft maintenance status, requirements, and timelines. Coordinate and support aircraft maintenance flow by assigning, monitoring, and updating project milestones throughout the maintenance cycle. Develop, implement, and maintain planning templates to standardize workflows and improve operational efficiency. Track and manage project progress for each aircraft visit, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Prepare and distribute comprehensive maintenance workload packages to ensure technicians have clear, accurate instructions and documentation. Forecast inventory needs to maintain optimal stock levels, appropriate inventory mix, and overall program efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including maintenance, supply chain, and engineering – to ensure seamless execution of maintenance projects. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational objectives. What you will need to be successful in this role: High School Diploma or GED required; additional education or relevant technical training is a plus. Previous experience in maintenance planning, data entry, or similar operational support role within the aviation industry preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills in standard English. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance tracking software. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
