About The Position
The Planner LTE position is responsible for the development, implementation, management, and coordination of funding related to planning and zoning efforts within Marathon County. Planning support may include, but is not limited to transportation, zoning, natural resources, economic development and housing, land information, ordinance updates, and the county comprehensive and strategic plans. This position will also support the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), and Marathon County transportation planning activities. This position follows the direction set by various committees and intergovernmental organizations and the Conservation, Planning, & Zoning Director. Please note, this is a limited-term position through 2025 with the possibility of continued employment into 2026, depending on funding.
