About The Position

Supply Chain Planner is responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods, materials, and information throughout the supply chain, from suppliers to customers. This role involves analyzing demand forecasts, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with various teams to optimize operations and meet customer needs.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is usually necessary.
• 5 plus years of experience in supply chain planning or a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting data and making decisions.
• Proficiency with supply chain management software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel functions is essential.

Nice To Haves

• A Master's degree or certifications can be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Developing demand forecasts using historical data and market trends.
• Managing inventory to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess and stockouts.
• Collaborating on production schedules with manufacturing teams.
• Coordinating with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Analyzing supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Identifying supply chain risks and developing contingency plans.
