About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience with material and production planning information systems in a manufacturing/assembly environment (MPS/MRP).
• APICS courses and Certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Interprets sales orders and develops production schedules.
• Calculates material requirements and prepares purchase requisitions.
• Releases manufacturing orders and prepares shipping documents to support on-time shipments.
• Resolves problems related to inventories, procurement, scheduling, and shipments.
• Works from engineering drawings to create purchase requisitions and production schedules.
• Participates in department and program meetings and prepares status reports as required.
• Coordinates project closeouts as assigned.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
