Responsibilities

• Review and circulate applications, prepare and coordinate comments regarding City requirements and zoning regulations.
• Consult with stakeholders including internal city departments, developers, and the public during reviews.
• Collect, compile, tabulate, and analyze data for comprehensive planning programs.
• Assist in the formulation and administration of the City's Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations.
• Conduct planning and zoning studies and prepare reports for municipal administration and external agencies.
• Review site and permit plans for compliance with applicable regulations.
• Disseminate information to the public on planning, zoning, and development regulations.
• Respond to inquiries and provide effective customer service regarding planning and zoning.
• Develop and implement strategies for managing growth and development within the city.
• Coordinate and conduct public engagement initiatives for planning projects.
• Supervise technical personnel in gathering data for land-use studies.
