As our Electrical Instrumentation Planner, you will play a crucial role in coordinating all electrical tasks, including preventative maintenance planning, job staging, and performance planning in an underground hard rock mining operation to keep our production going and our profitability up. Every day you will work at a mine on a remote island about 18 miles outside of Juneau, Alaska. You'll start every day organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing work activities to promote a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment. You will be called upon to work cooperatively with others as part of a team, and encourage collaboration, trust and openness among employees. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Department, while also coordinating closely with the Underground Electrical and Powerhouse departments. We're on a remote island, you must know how to work independently, identify, and resolve problems in a timely manner. The Electrical Instrumentation Planner is a key person for coordination of all electrical tasks, preventative maintenance planning, job staging, and performance planning with responsibility for the E&I Department and coordination with the Underground Electrical and Powerhouse departments.
