The Planned Giving Officer in the Gift Planning and Endowment (GP&E) team is a strategic partner in advancing GBH's philanthropic mission. Reporting to the Director of Gift Planning and Endowment, this role is instrumental in increasing the number and impact of planned gifts. Specializing in estate and gift administration, donor communications, and office management, the Planned Giving Officer ensures the seamless execution of all administrative and stewardship functions. They proactively manage complex workflows, support high-level donor engagement, and contribute to the long-term growth of the planned giving program. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, initiative, and judgment. The Planned Giving Officer regularly collaborates with internal departments and external partners, demonstrating discretion, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Their ability to anticipate needs, streamline processes, and implement best practices has a direct impact on the program's success.
