The University of Alaska Museum of the North is seeking a Planetarium Manager to help open a brand new facility. Plan and shape the future of UAMN's planetarium. This is a unique opportunity to develop planetarium programs from the ground up and share the joys of space science. The UAMN team is a tight-knit, hardworking one; please consider joining us! The Planetarium Manager is responsible for general operations of the soon-to-open UAMN Planetarium. This will include determining content, planning programs, delivering shows, hiring and training staff, and budget and asset planning. The UA Museum of the North is made up of a multi-talented group of professionals who work hard to make UAMN the premier institution it is. The museum sees around 90,000 visitors annually, and the Planetarium Manager will help enrich the visitor experience with a host of thoughtfully selected and well presented shows.
