About The Position

The Placement & Career Services Developer Level 2 at PathStone Corporation is responsible for building strong relationships with local employers and organizations to enhance employment opportunities for farm workers and other targeted groups. This role involves supporting and motivating customers throughout their training and employment journey, ensuring excellent customer service in career development, job placement, and retention services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in job placement and development.
• Proficiency in developing training programs and outreach/recruitment.
• Experience providing services to target populations through community resources.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain relationships with area employers and organizations to promote PathStone's training and employment programs.
• Assist and motivate customers through the training and employment process.
• Maintain accurate records and files on all participants.
• Compile and analyze field office data in a timely manner.
• Update Individual/Family Development Plans (IFDP) and other necessary documentation.
• Conduct labor market studies for job development.
• Analyze assessment results and employment barriers to formulate action plans.
• Disseminate program information to employers and represent target populations in committees and boards.
• Attend required trainings for program and individual development.
• Conduct outreach and recruitment to identify eligible participants.
• Develop job placement opportunities for participants.
• Participate in case management meetings and develop individual client transition plans.
• Collaborate with community groups and employers to identify employment trends.
• Provide mentorship to lower-level Placement & Career Service Developers.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
