About The Position

The Place to Play Group Assistant is a part-time classified position responsible for monitoring an assigned group of students during activity periods. The activities will vary, and assignments will be made accordingly. The individual in this role will be actively involved in the facilitation and supervision of all activities and must be prepared to lead the group in an appropriate activity when a scheduled activity is canceled.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with motivating at-risk students.
• Ability to operate computers and new software.
• Ability to easily adapt to new situations.
• Ability to handle student conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor an assigned group of students during activity periods.
• Facilitate and supervise all activities.
• Lead the group in an appropriate activity when a scheduled activity is canceled.
