Peraton is seeking a talented PL/SQL Developer to join our team supporting enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle development experience and the ability to collaborate closely with functional analysts to translate business requirements into effective, maintainable technical solutions. This position is remote.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business and application requirements into detailed component designs and solutions.
Design, develop, and implement application components including packages, stored procedures, extensions, views, embedded HTML, and customizations.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Ensure adherence to established documentation, development methodologies, version control, testing, and migration standards.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and provide ongoing production support for implemented solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain optimal application performance and reliability.

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience or a High School diploma and 9 years of experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
Must have hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
Proficiency in Oracle Database design and development.
Strong knowledge of SQL and Unix/Linux environments.
Experience with PL/SQL development that includes embedded HTML.
Proven analytical, design, and debugging skills with a focus on performance optimization.

Experience working in the insurance industry or with employee benefits programs.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in team-based environments.
