About The Position

As a PL/SQL Developer you will design, develop and maintain databases and applications using PL/SQL (Procedural Language for SQL). Job Description Experience Required: 3 to 5 years PL /SQL writing and optimizing packages, procedures, functions and triggers to implement business logic and database operations Experience Required: PL/SQL and Python coding language Experience Required: Oracle database Previous experience migrating from data warehouse to datalake Must be willing to work on on-call rotation.. (day time on call schedule and night time off-hours (5pm to 8am) including weekends and holidays

Requirements

3 to 5 years PL /SQL writing and optimizing packages, procedures, functions and triggers to implement business logic and database operations
PL/SQL and Python coding language
Oracle database
Previous experience migrating from data warehouse to datalake
Must be willing to work on on-call rotation.. (day time on call schedule and night time off-hours (5pm to 8am) including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Writing & optimizing packages, procedures, functions and triggers to implement business logic and database operations
Provide functional, technical and analytical support for voice and data networks to ensure requirements are met. Data warehouse applications
Maintain cognizance of all internal standards and procedures, industry trends and new technologies to ensure that Giant Eagle, Inc., keeps current with information technology.
Identify and resolve problems in order to maintain communications.
Design and plan cost-effective, fault-tolerant information system solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems to ensure no disruption of mission-critical applications.
Organize, prepare and maintain system documentation according to established standards to facilitate ongoing support and maintenance.
Participate in corporate auditing reviews and assemble change management documentation as required.
Report all problems or potential problems to appropriate management in a timely manner using corporate root cause analysis documents and procedures.
Complete weekly time and status reports by defined deadlines.
