About The Position

Peraton requires a PKI Administrator to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. This position is located at Cannon AFB, NM. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end-user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

Requirements

  • Min 6 years with HS Diploma; 4 years with AS/AA; or 2 years with BS/BA.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the full lifecycle of digital certificates, including installation, renewal, revocation, and validation.
  • Manage Root/Issuing Certificate Authorities (CAs), Registration Authorities (RAs), and Key Recovery Agents (KRAs).
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining both physical and virtualized infrastructure; ensuring secure connections according to established best practices.
  • Assist in the deployment and management of multi-factor authentication solutions, including certificate-based and non-certificate-based methods.
  • Follow established best practices and the zero trust principle to support the enforcement of security measures related to organizational certificate usage.
  • Provide assistance during internal and external audits by helping to compile and present the current status of PKI, Cryptography, and MFA solutions within the organization.
  • Create and update documentation related to business continuity, ensuring all processes are clearly recorded and easily accessible.
  • Ensure PKI systems adhere to security policies and data protection frameworks.
  • Monitor system health and resolving issues related to PKI components.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
