SAGE Dining Services is seeking an experienced Cook with strong pizza-making skills to join our culinary team at a boarding school in Wallingford, Connecticut. SAGE seeks individuals passionate about food and community to create healthy, exciting restaurant-quality meals from scratch with strong pizza-making skills to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and brings expertise in working with raw dough, stone ovens, and traditional pizza preparation techniques. Previous experience in a dedicated pizza restaurant is highly preferred, Proven ability to handle and stretch raw dough by hand, skilled in working with stone or wood-fired ovens. The shift would be 9:45 am-2:30pm then back at 3:45 pm- 8:15 pm based on availability.
