About The Position

Eataly is the world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace, where each location offers a unique experience for guests to eat authentic Italian food, shop high-quality Italian, local, and homemade products, and learn through classes and product knowledge. A Pizza Maker is responsible for producing roman-style pizza alla pala in accordance with Eataly's authentic Italian recipes.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in a back of house production position
Good work ethic, communication and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
Ability to work with a wood burning oven, electric pizza convection oven and commercial spiral mixer

Responsibilities

Prepares pizzas according to specific recipes
Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures
Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area according to Department of Health standards
Works towards mastering all shifts in pizza production
Assists Sales Associates if needed and engages with guests interested in learning about pizza production
Performs other duties as required or assigned
