Pizza Line Cook Leads are responsible for the daily preparation and execution of all food items in the pizza station and assisting in other areas of the kitchen. In addition to the duties outlined above, Lead Roles are responsible for opening/closing department, being able to clearly communicate, showing commitment to food safety, focusing on teamwork, and multitasking. Some Lead tasks include, but not limited to: ordering of products, inventory, ensuring stations/staff closing/cleaning restaurant or opening responsibilities of the restaurant, and overall cleanliness of restaurant while holding other employees accountable to their tasks. The Lead Role is a great opportunity for those interested in moving into a management position.
