About The Position

PIZZA CHEF – JOIN OUR CASINO CULINARY TEAM! Are you passionate about crafting delicious, high-quality pizzas? Do you thrive in a lively, fast-paced kitchen where your creativity and skills can shine? Our popular casino restaurant is looking for a talented Pizza Chef to join our culinary family! As a Pizza Chef, you’ll create exceptional handcrafted pizzas to order, bringing flavor, precision, and great energy to every dish. What You’ll Do Prepare a variety of specialty pizzas using recipes crafted by our Sous Chef and Executive Chef. Serve guests with fresh, flavorful slices and our house-made gelato from the counter. Ensure every dish meets our high standards for quality, portioning, and visual presentation. Follow ticket procedures—no plate leaves without one! Maintain a spotless, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout your shift. Sanitize and disinfect work areas, cutting boards, and prep tables to meet all Health Department and company standards. Properly wrap, label, date, and store ingredients in designated areas. Support food prep between the main kitchen line and pizza station, and assist the Sushi Chef when needed. Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude. Provide exceptional guest interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience preparing and cooking pizzas required.
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and basic cooking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain composure in potentially stressful situations.
  • Must have job-related tools.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Well-groomed appearance and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
  • Ability to tolerate environments with secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
  • Required Work Cards: Food Handlers Certification.
