What will you do? Follow supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products for guests by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas, ensuring adherence to recipe standards Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to achieve perfect crust texture and toppings Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient workflow Set up, operate and clean kitchen equipment, according to correct procedures as well as keeping workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures May be required to perform other duties as needed to support the overall goals and objectives of the team and organization More about you 1-2 years experience as a cook or prep cook, Italian cuisine preferred In-depth knowledge of pizza preparation techniques highly preferred Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders Ability to follow procedures and take directions Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays Physical requirements Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, and blend a variety of foods and liquids Ability to carry large pans, weighing up to 50 pounds, and operate kitchen equipment Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions Exposed to variable temperatures Shift details Days Evenings Holidays M-F Weekends
