The Pizza Cook is responsible for supervising and overseeing the preparation of food items for guest orders ensuring consistent quality . This role requires a special talent and passion for ensuring the culinary team deliver s the highest of culinary consistently , and ensuring that our food offering is at the center of our guest experience . This role is part of the Culinary team, reporting into the Culinary Management Team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pizza Maker, preferably in luxury hotels, fine dining, or upscale restaurants.
  • Strong knowledge of artisanal dough preparation, fermentation methods, and oven operation.
  • Ability to handle premium ingredients with care and precision.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of culinary hygiene and food safety standards.
  • A passion for high-end cuisine and a guest-first mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Ensur e our guests consistently receive the highest level o f service excellence
  • Follow production, portion and presentation standards
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
  • Prepare and hand‑craft pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to luxury hotel standards.
  • Execute gourmet pizzas with attention to detail, balance, and premium presentation.
  • Operate wood‑fired, stone, or specialty pizza ovens with expert timing and temperature control.
  • Taste, test, and adjust recipes to ensure consistent flavor and quality.
  • Create specialty or seasonal pizzas that showcase creativity and quality.
  • Assist in setting up plans and actions to control food waste.
