About The Position

SUMMARY: Responsible for implementing and ensuring all operations of Casino Table Games, and employee performances are in compliance with the Company’s objectives and goals and Gaming regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: • Performs excellent customer service at all times. • Supervises the operation of assigned areas. • Assists in the selection, training and evaluation of subordinate employees. Maintains the highest quality standards in all areas of customer service and hospitality and developing players. • Ensures that all games move at an appropriate pace. Maintains appropriate game spread, limits and staffing. • Makes recommendation and suggestions to hire, transfer, suspend, promote, discharge, evaluate, assign and discipline all table games employees on his/her assigned shift in a fair and equitable manner. • Informs Casino Operations Managers of all noteworthy, suspicious, or unusual activity. Facilitates the flow of information throughout the casino. • Coaches and mentors employees in assigned area to maintain and improve on expected levels of performance, promotion and productivity by using positive motivation. • Maintains knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations as well as the Company’s internal controls, policies and procedures. • Maintains a consistent and regular attendance record. • Ushers as needed by management for events. • Performs any reasonable request made by management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises all Floor Supervisors and indirectly supervises all dealers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of one to two years as a Floor Supervisor and two to three years of dealing experience in casino operations required.
  • Must be able to maintain a gaming license.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be familiar with Pit accounting procedures and administrative tasks, i.e., fills, credits, marker transactions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports (financial) and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
