About The Position

The Pit Clerk at MGM Resorts International plays a crucial role in supporting the Table Games Department by managing various operational tasks at gaming tables. This position emphasizes delivering exceptional guest service in line with the company's standards, ensuring a vibrant and engaging experience for guests and coworkers alike.

Requirements

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software, including Outlook and MS Word.
  • Exhibit telephone etiquette.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Table Games Department with operational tasks at gaming tables.
  • Interact with guests and coworkers to provide excellent service.
  • Manage patron accounts, including creation and updates, and print MGM Rewards cards.
  • Scan customer IDs and enter manual ratings and comps.
  • Assist with pit transactions, including marker functions and securing markers during system downtimes.
  • Answer phones in the pits.
