Requirements

  • Technical or Associate Degree in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or architectural design from an accredited technical institution or college; or commensurate experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of building systems.
  • Proven experience in at least one discipline area such as fire protection, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing/piping, or process systems.
  • Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs and in the current version of AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
  • Understanding of applicable design codes and specification requirements.

  • Navisworks experience preferred.
  • Strong spoken and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Effective working individually and within team environments.

Responsibilities

  • Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information set forth in basis of design.
  • Gather information from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
  • Interpret design criteria and convert it into specific layouts.
