About The Position

We are seeking a Piping Foreman for a direct hire, long-term role with a well-established construction company that has over 45 years of experience delivering exceptional commercial and infrastructure projects throughout eastern Pennsylvania. The company specializes in municipal, industrial, and environmental construction, with a strong emphasis on water and wastewater treatment facilities. This position offers a pay range of $32 - $40+/hr, based on experience, plus performance-based project bonuses. The location for this role is Fleetwood, PA, and the schedule is flexible, potentially offering 4/10s or Monday to Friday for the first shift. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Foreman or lead, specifically overseeing underground pipework installation for utility projects.
  • Proven ability to lead, schedule, and manage crews effectively on complex infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of water/wastewater processes, site layout, and utility installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR required.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the installation of underground piping systems for utility projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and work alongside field crews on active water and wastewater construction projects.
  • Interpret plans, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently.
  • Schedule daily tasks, assign duties to crew members, and manage productivity on-site.
  • Monitor quality of work, ensure safety compliance, and address any issues as they arise.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between field staff and project management.
  • Assist with hands-on work - formwork, excavation, piping, equipment operation, etc.
  • Document daily reports and ensure site cleanliness, safety, and readiness.
