About The Position

Position will support plant engineer/construction personnel in design of
piping systems and retrofit projects.
Will evaluate SOW using P&IDs and specifications to design in alignment with
industry standards.
Responsible for shooting elevations (as required) with transit and laser
level.
Responsible for performing Laser Scanning Services (LFM Server)
Will provide field support: ISOs, equipment verification and layout, Tie-ins
(existing to new piping), P&ID corrections and updates.

Requirements

• College degree or Drafting Technology Certificate is preferred, not required.
• 5-8 years’ experience in Piping design
• Project experience in Petrochemical preferred
• Experience utilizing AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with 3D Design Tools
• Experience using Laser Scanning Technology and LFM Server Preferred
• Knowledge of working in EDMS drawing management systems.
• Preparation of Project Closeouts and Engineering/Construction Packages
• Field Experience: ISOs, 2D Equipment, Plot Plan Sketches
• Experience working on new piping systems and retrofit projects preferred.
• Active TWIC preferred or able to obtain.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to physically conduct field trips for review of project materials, equipment and engage with field personnel.
• Work schedules may include extended work hours.
