About The Position

Lafayette, LA : Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Piping Designer to join our Lafayette team. Essential Duties: Ensure constructability, operability, and maintainability in project design Develop design configurations for various applicable systems Provide efficient, cost-effective technical input into designs Prepare detailed design drawings in line with engineering specifications and project deliverables Maintain a comprehensive Job Data Book with all pertinent project design data Review drawings for completeness, quality, and adherence to standards Confirm that all drawings are properly checked Prepare or direct the preparation of final drawing plots and transmittals for project deliverables Conduct occasional site visits as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5–10 years of relevant working experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or CadWorx
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, creative, organized, and a proactive problem solver
• Excellent attention to detail
