About The Position

Bechtel is seeking an Entry Level Drafter/Designer to assist in the basic development of design concepts for piping systems, structures, and equipment utilizing 2D or 3D drafting techniques. This position is part-time telework, requiring at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. The role involves modeling and preparation of drawings for General Arrangements, Equipment Locations, and piping isometrics drawings extracted from a 3D model automated environment. The candidate will accept technical and administrative direction from the Sr. Designers/Leads during the preparation of designs.

Requirements

• Entry Level Drafter/Designer position.
• Requires AA/AS or Certificate in Engineering/CAD or 1-2 years of related experience.
• US Citizen only.
• Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Hands-on use or classes using a 2D software package such as AutoCad or MicroStation.
