About The Position

The Piper will be responsible for the precise layout, fabrication, fitting, and brazing of piping and tubing used in refrigeration systems and equipment. This position requires keen attention to detail, the ability to interpret mechanical and piping drawings, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Piper will work collaboratively with the production team to optimize warehousing, flow, and assembly efficiencies.

Requirements

• Strong technical skills: Ability to read measuring tape and perform basic math, with proficiency in hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with various drawing types and blueprints.
• Physical ability: Comfortable lifting moderate weights and performing various physical tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Several years of experience in industrial piping or fabrication.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or refrigeration systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, and assembling piping and tubing for refrigeration equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical/piping drawings and schematics.
• Measure and cut piping to precise specifications.
• Perform brazing of joints and fittings using various techniques.
• Utilize hand tools to apply significant torque.
• Adhere to safety protocols and support Lean/5S/Quality initiatives.
• Assist in other assembly or fabrication tasks as required.
