About The Position

This position is part of an operational projects team that completes projects such as anomaly repairs, pipeline relocations, piping fabrications, emergency response and repairs as needed on transmission natural gas facilities.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving record
  • Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement required
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience
  • Clean MVR
  • Able to pass DOT drug test and background check
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical systems and troubleshooting preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Level C requires a minimum of 0 – 2 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience
  • Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience
  • Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Operate truck to load, transport, and unload materials and equipment. To include tractor trailers, trucks, bumper pull and goose neck trailers.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure the safe operation of equipment and adherence to all DOT regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of assigned trucks and equipment
  • Assist with hands on pipeline installation and repair task including, hand excavation, torquing flanges, painting, setting environmental controls, and any other project specific activities
  • Follow company safety procedures, including PPE use and site-specific procedures
  • Navigate and operate vehicles safely in off-road conditions and heavily congested urban areas.
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by project specific demands
  • Communicate effectively with management, project managers and teammates.
  • Respond appropriately to changing weather, road, and site conditions
  • Report any vehicle, equipment or job-related issues promptly to manager
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize assigned responsibilities and coordinate work with employees and contractors
  • Coordinate and communicate with outside parties including landowners, public agencies, contractors, utilities, and other pipeline operators
  • Actively participate and provide leadership in safety programs and initiatives and follow policies and procedures
  • Comply with partnership safety policies and procedures
