About The Position

Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors. Summary Area operations of pipelines which include maintenance and repair of pump station and all equipment related to the operation of the pipeline, rights of way associated with the pipeline, one calls, supervision of contract crews, attend public awareness meetings for the area of responsibility. Help other Sunoco employees when needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • No experience required.
  • Ability to safely use the required hand/power tools necessary to complete basic tasks associated with pipeline, facility and pump station maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions and seasons.
  • Willingness to respond to emergency situations on a 24 hour/365 day per year basis.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently with instructions and/or in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical and mechanical experience preferred (if applicable)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience is preferred.
  • A CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meets all SUNOCO hiring requirements
  • Complete basic training and reporting requirements (i.e. Safety training, ADP -time sheet entry, CBT, Concur, Begin OQ Qualifications, etc.)
  • Safely locate, probe, and mark the location of underground utilities and pipelines.
  • Safely drive a company provided vehicle.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
