The Pipeline Operator position at EnLink Midstream involves overseeing the operations and maintenance of pipeline facilities, compressor stations, and related equipment. The role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of natural gas and other energy products, while adhering to company policies and regulatory standards. The operator will work in a dynamic environment, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively.

  • Responsible for the operations and maintenance of pipeline facilities, compressor stations, LNG pump stations, and measurement facilities.
  • Utilize people skills and task prioritizing skills for scheduling and directing contract personnel.
  • Maintain accurate measurement of gas into and out of an assigned area of the pipeline district.
  • Coordinate, supervise, and inspect the maintenance or construction of minor pipeline facilities.
  • Complete applicable reporting and documentation of key operating parameters.
  • Assist with daily pipeline operational and maintenance activities such as locating pipelines, running pipeline pigs, and changing charts.
  • Complete appropriate documentation and reporting for inspection and maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in cost control of pipeline operations and maintenance in assigned area.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of pipeline operations and/or maintenance experience.
  • Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining LNG and natural gas pipeline and station facilities.
  • Fundamental knowledge of instrumentation and controls associated with LNG and natural gas pipeline operations.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Basic computer skills to use company email and produce electronic reports.
  • Must pass pre-employment background, driving record, drug screening, and is subject to random DOT drug testing.
  • Good knowledge and/or experience with cathodic protection, measurement, and/or SCADA equipment.
  • Capable of performing duties independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work rotating shift schedule and be on 24 hours call as needed.
