Maintains and operates pipeline assets including, but not limited to valve manifolds, pig launchers and receivers, and control and pump stations. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintains and operates custody transfer measurement facilities and performs product quality control tests. Locates pipelines as needed and oversees excavations and line crossings. Launches and receives cleaning pigs and assists with the launch and receiving of smart pigs. Installs pipeline markers and does routing inspections on right of way. Maintains and operates corrosion control equipment. Attends and participates in damage prevention meetings. Interfaces with various landowners including private, state, and federal agencies. Maintains knowledge of current environmental regulations and company policies. Meets requirements of Company Operator Qualification Program, performs identified tasks and remains compliant. Attends training programs on a continual basis, including computer based training. Attends all safety meeting and safety training courses as required by the company and regulatory agencies.
