Performs mechanical functions including inspecting, checking, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing all mechanical equipment in order to maintain high levels of safe and productive equipment performance. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs remedial and preventative maintenance and maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices inside and outside of the facilities. Generates and maintains required logs. Monitors and adjusts equipment to maintain optimum availability and efficiency. Assists operations, I&E, and other work groups as needed or required. Reviews procedures as necessary to achieve good workmanlike performance and ensures compliance of all company and industry standards to meet the requirements of all regulatory agencies. Completes records of time and required regulatory reports. Maintains close contact with the supervisor regarding maintenance trouble reports and scheduled equipment maintenance to ensure minimum interruption to operations. Participates in available cross training to effectively develop skills in areas specific to other operators. Attends all safety meetings and safety training courses as required by regulatory agencies.
